Tiverton Swimming Club uses a computer to manage entries and results. By submitting entries and accepting entry to the Meet, consent is thereby given, as required under the Data Protection Act 1998, to the holding of personal information on a computer.
Personal data handled, such as name, club, recorded and entered times may be made public during or after the Meet.
Event Details
All events will start at the deep end of the pool and we would request that only swimmers who are experienced in diving from starting blocks use them at the start of each race.
During the heats, starts may be made 'over the tops' of the previous heat. Please notify your swimmers of this and ask them to stay to the side of their lane with shoulders under the water. They should clear the pool immediately after the next start. (This will not apply to backstroke heats.)
Diving into the shallow end of the pool is not allowed. No diving during warm-up except in designated sprint lanes when advised by the warm-up marshal.
Swimmers are not allowed in the Learner Pool at any time during this Open Meet.
