|Tiverton Sparkler 2019
TSC was proud to host our annual level 3 Open Meet again with over 220 swimmers from local clubs attending. Spectators in the packed gallery were treated to a day's fast and fun racing as the event showcased our club's commitment to developing swimmers.
Many thanks go to all the volunteers, officials and of course the swimmers who helped make the meet so successful.
|British and English Nationals
Gemma, Jodie and Katie W all competed at the British National Championships held in Glasgow at the end of July competing against the top 24 swimmers in Britain.
The following week Gemma Jodie and Sam were in action at the English Nationals in Sheffield. See the attachment for all the details.
Emma D did TSC proud at the Belgian Championships at the Piscine Olympique in Genk in July. In her first ever national competition, Emma had qualified to swim in two events during the weekend meet. On the Saturday Emma stormed home to win a silver medal in the 100m backstroke and backed that up on the Sunday by placing 26th in the 100m freestyle.
Emma thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience of competing abroad and was absolutely thrilled to come home with her medal. Well done Emma!

|New Technology - Wireless training headsets
Following a successful bid for funding from The Ashfords Foundation, TSC has taken delivery of our Jukes wireless headsets. The headsets allow our coaches to communicate directly with their swimmers while they are still training in the water without the need for any shouting. Many thanks to the Ashfords Foundation for their generosity and support.
