Plymouth Leander Christmas Meet Thirteen members of Tiverton Swimming Club travelled to Plymouth Life Centre to compete in the Plymouth Leander Level 3 meet and were delighted to come away with 17 medals and several personal best times between them. |

County Qualifier Meet TSC swimmers brought home eight medals and set an incredible 69 personal best times when they attended the Taunton Deane & Street Level 3 Meet at Millfield School. |

Plymouth Leander Winter Qualifier TSC was represented by twenty two swimmers at the Plymouth Leander Harwich Cup. Running both a Level 1 and a Level 3 meet at the same time meant that swimmers from right across the club could compete all together - even if it was a bit confusing as to who was winning all the medals! |

Masters Success at National Inter-Counties Five Masters from TSC were selected to represent Devon in the regional round of the National Masters Inter County competition at Millfield. Kitty Hollingsworth, Andrea Norris, Sue Haigh, Rebecca Jenkinson and Graham Cridland competed in a total of 21 individual and relay events, amassing an enormous number of points to help Devon retain the regional title. |

National Arena Swimming League TSC got the Arena League season off to a great start taking second place in the first round. |

Exeter October Meet Eleven swimmers represented Tiverton Swimming Club in the Exeter City Level 2 short course meet at The Life Centre in Plymouth. They had a very successful weekend and brought home 24 medals between them of varying colours. |

Clevedon Sprint Meet Tiverton Swimming Club came away with 10 medals and 57 personal best times when 20 swimmers took part in the recent Sprint Meet at Hutton Moor, Weston-Super-Mare. The meet included the 100m individual medley and 50m sprints in all four strokes. |

Masters Successes Sue H represented Great Britain at the World Masters Swimming Championships in Budapest. Fantastic performances produced 3 Bronze Medals in the 100m, 200m and 400m Freestyle. This was followed at the Devon Masters where she was joined in a Gold rush by Kitty H and Lucy B getting 10 gold medals between them. |

This new award is given to recognise and promote the hard work and dedication of volunteers within Aquatics Clubs in the South West. Summer shutdown and Blundell's Rota Training will continue for all squads for the first two weeks of the school summer holidays. LTS, CSA and CSA2 will train at EVLC as usual while the other squads mainly transfer to Blundells Pool for some al fresco sessions. Please see the rota for full details. Following the last training session on 7th August, all training will cease for three weeks (except Masters). Training reverts to normal starting Tuesday 29th August |

Junior Fun Team Gala TSC hosted teams from Exeter, Dawlish, Honiton, and Exmouth for a friendly gala for under 13 yo swimmers. An exciting time was had by all with Exeter ultimately taking the top prize. Many thanks go to all the volunteers and officials who made the event possible. |

Swim England Southwest Region Age Group Championships Eight TSC swimmers qualified for this year's Regionals and between them they reached twelve finals, won two silver medals and gained 39 personal best times. Only the fastest swimmers in the six counties of the South West get to compete at the Regionals so it is a tremendous achievement and just reward for all the hours of hard work put in by the swimmers (and Coaches!). |

Easter Meets TSC swimmers were in action at two meets over the Easter holidays. Lots of medals and PBs at both the Calne Alpha meet in Wiltshire and at the Exeter and Taunton Deane meet at Millfield. |

March Madness TSC swimmers went to two meets on the same weekend. Great results at both the Tigersharks meet in Swindon and the meet at Millfield. |

Devon County Relays TSC entered 3 teams in this year's event and had great success. The 14/15yo boys came away with silver in both the medley and freestyle relays. The 12/13yo girls team took bronze in the medley while the 10/11yo girls team swam their hearts out to finish in the 5th fastest time in their age-group. |

Club Presentation Evening Tiverton Swimming Club held its annual presentation evening at Moorhayes Community Centre where members, parents, coaches and volunteers all gathered to celebrate the achievements of the past year, with Club President Terry Fullick handing out the awards. |

Dartmoor Sprint Meet 29 young swimmers from Tiverton Swimming Club travelled to Okehampton to compete in the 2017 Dartmoor Sprint Meet. Many were taking part in their first competitive gala and between them they won 26 medals and the overall Top Girl trophy was won by Emma Declerk. |

Devon County Championships 2017 Tiverton Swimming Club enjoyed another successful year at the Devon County Championships in January. Eighteen swimmers gained the qualifying times to take part at the event and between them they filled 52 final places, bagged 25 medals and gained numerous personal best times and club records. |
